Small cemetery located on the north wall of the Romanesque church of Sant Vicenç.
The soil that dampens the wall is replaced by a stepped enclosure with three levels, each formed by a row of double prefabricated niches, covered with white artificial stone slabs. As these are topped with soil and grass, they give the appearance of graves set into the ground.
A permanent play of shadows expresses the presence and dialogue with the invisible, while the bell tower—forming a vertical triangle with two newly planted cypresses—acts as the gnomon of a sundial, slowly casting shadows over the white walls and revealing the passage of time.
A peripheral exterior path made of small gravel steps, which crunch underfoot, allows for an intimate engagement with the landscape. Raw material textures range from grey to white.
