This is the first in a network of shelters in a protected area of olive groves. To avoid being detected, we have developed several camouflage strategies.
The walls are coloured with a mixture of lime, water and earth, and the openings are covered with metal sheets that imitate stone prints. The main chamber, just over 9 by 30 feet, expands through a series of underground galleries that serve as water, food, energy and waste storage.
