Placed on a piece of land that cuts through the block, facing the Atlantic Ocean on one side and on the other, Calle Resalsero (Calle 26), it has five levels of apartments and underground garages. Each floor has four apartments.
This work allowed Arch. López Rey to work with the “mass”, in a sculptural way.
The façade towards Calle 26 houses the intimate sectors of the apartments, achieving a high level of privacy. Vertical elements with curved edges and a fine fluted treatment make up the volume, amalgamated by strips of windows that correspond to the bedrooms. This volume achieves a magnificent effect of light and shadows during the different hours of the day.
The social sectors of the apartments are turned towards the Atlantic Ocean, with privileged views of Isla de Lobos and the horizon. Here the volume has large openings and excellent terraces for enjoyment and relaxation.
